The Institute of Autonomous Unmanned Vehicles and Intelligent Systems currently has 2 professors and 6 associate professors. Focusing on the frontiers of autonomous unmanned systems, intelligent vehicles, and smart transportation, and addressing the growing demand for safe, reliable, and intelligent mobility, the Institute is dedicated to conducting research on fundamental theories, key technologies, system integration, testing and evaluation, and engineering applications in autonomous unmanned vehicles and intelligent systems. Its principal research areas include multimodal intelligent perception and information fusion, autonomous navigation and decision-making, vehicle–road cooperative perception and control, intelligent driving-behavior analysis, embodied intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, simulation and testing for automated driving, and safety and performance evaluation of intelligent vehicles.
